Mr. Joseph Arnold Hendricks, Sr.

It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Arnold Hendricks, Sr., age 78, of Riverview, Florida, who entered into his eternal rest on March 13, 2025.  A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in The Evelyn Samples Shelton Memorial Chapel of Hanley Shelton Funeral Home 473 Lawrence Street Marietta, Georgia.   A Military Burial will be on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Georgia National Cemetery 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive Canton, Georgia 30114.

Joseph A. Hendricks, Sr., known as Mickey, passed away peacefully ant home in his sleep and went with the angels to be with our Lord and Savior on March 13, 2025. Mickey was preceded in death by his mother and father, 2 brothers and 1 daughter.  Mickey is survived by his wife Lois of 53+ years, his children Joseph, Jr, Jason, Diane and Iana, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  He is also survived by sisters and brothers, Linda, Bobby, Ronnie, Janie, Norman and Nora, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

In addition to leaving a meaningful impression on his family and friends, Mickey worked more than 50 years at Ford Motor Company and as a Court Security Officer with the US Marshall service in Atlanta, GA and Tampa, FL.  Mickey served honorably as a Sergeant in the US Air Force for 6 years.

Mickey, you have completed your mission and you are done with the troubles of this world.  May you be in eternal rest and peace on your journey home.  We all love you and will miss you! Never forgotten!!!  Your impression will never fade.
