Mr. Ronald Watkins

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ronald Scott Watkins, age 58, of Marietta, Ga., who entered into his eternal rest on February 23, 2023. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hanley Shelton Funeral Home.

Mr. Ronald Scott Watkins was born November 5, 1964 to Lola Mae and Ronald Alvin Watkins.

Ronald moves to Atlanta in 1987 to pursue a better job opportunity.  Ronald married his high school sweetheart Barbee and they shared 32 blessed years of marriage.

He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and trusted friend.  Ronald was an avid tennis player and he also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory; wife Barbee, twin brother Rodney (Krista) of Appleton, WI, nephews Courtney and Isaiah, sisters Sherethea (Je'Mone) Smith of Allen, TX, Donna (Charles) Patton of Chattanooga, TN, a host of neices, nephews, family and special friends.  He is also survived by his Godparents Sadie and Moses Williams of Flint, MI, his Godsister Shelean Williams, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
