It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Frances Brown, age 92, of Powder Springs, Georgia who entered into her eternal rest on October 2, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:30 PM in The Evelyn Samples Shelton Memorial Chapel of Hanley Shelton Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 PM until the Hour of Celebration.
Frances L. Brown mother of Willie J. Brown (Linda Brown) was born on August 25, 1931 in the Atlanta area.
Frances moved to Marietta/Powder Springs area in 2010 to be near her son and family. She attended school in the Atlanta School District and worked as a Nanny most of her working life. She departed this life on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, with her loving son and grandson present.
