Mrs. Rubye L. Edmonds

It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rubye L. Edmonds, age 79, who entered into her eternal rest on June 18, 2024.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Augusta, Georgia.  A Final Tribute will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Woodstock, Georgia.

Rubye L Edmonds April 06, 1945 - June 18, 2024 Rubye Edmonds 79, of Augusta, Georgia, went to be with the Lord and Savior on June 18th. She was born to the late Carl and Ida Durham of Woodstock ,GA. Ruby grew up in Cherokee county and went on to pursue higher education at Tuskeegee University and Paine College where she received her Bachlor Degree . She was a long time Employee as a Social Worker at East Central Regional Hospital-Gracewood in Augusta, Ga. She was a dedicated member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and wore many hats. Survivors include her loving family. Brother Paul ( Julia) Durham. Sister Fannie Hunter. Brother John Durham. And a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 PM at St. PAUL MISSIONARY BAPTIST.
